Active Flora’s combination of ingredients such as high gastrointestinal-resistance bacteria strains, fibre, saccharomyces boulardii and aloe vera, is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.

Description
Active Flora was developed using the latest technology – ProbioAct – mixing ingredients that protect and nourish specifically the bacteria used. These ingredients have been carefully selected for their proven ability to increase:

– The product’s average shelf-life
– Bacteria’s resistance to gastrointestinal tract
– Bacteria’s intestinal activity.

Active Flora contains one billion bacteria per gram (2 capsules). The bacteria strains are Bifidobacterium lactis, Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactococus Lacti, which have a synergetic effect that optimizes the benefits obtained. Due to exposure to external factors, the average lifespan of cells in traditional probiotics decreases, but thanks to the technology employed in the development of Active Flora, its bacteria last for up to 36 months at room temperature. This technology also protects them from stomach acid and keeps them alive. It also contains four billion saccharomyces boulardii, a beneficial yeast proven by numerous studies to be effective in the prevention and treatment of diarrhea, especially the type caused by the use of antibiotics. This action is based on multiple mechanisms working on digestive enzymes; s. boulardii is able to create a supportive environment for the growth of beneficial gut microbiota, which allows for the destruction of pathogens while it provides an additional protection for the mucous membrane. One of the most common intestinal infections is the excessive growth of a type of yeast called Candida albicans, usually known only as candida, which can cause intestinal disorders, fatigue, and skin, membranes, and mucosa afflictions which are resistant to the various body cavities such as the mouth, lips, eyelids, ears, or genital area. Because of the increased resistance of candida to current drugs, it is very important to come up with new strategies that can help with the treatment of this yeast. In this case, the use of probiotics like the s. boulardii yeast has proven that it is able to secrete certain active components capable of reducing the severity of Candida albicans. Aloe vera is grastro-protective due to its antiinflammatory properties at low doses, therefore it is advisable to take it for various disorders such as food intolerance or long-term use of antibiotics, as it improves intestinal permeability and helps to reduce inflammation. Active Flora provides 44 grams of aloe vera gel for every 2 capsules.
